"Before I joined the vocational training program by Ontherock Empowerment Foundation, I had no skill, no income, and no confidence in myself. Today, I run my own tailoring business and even train two young girls in my neighborhood. This foundation didn’t just teach me how to sew—it gave me a new life. Used to be ashamed and scared every time my period came. Sometimes I stayed away from school for days. But after attending the menstrual hygiene workshop by Ontherock Empowerment Foundation, I now understand my body better. I received sanitary pads and learned how to take care of myself with confidence. Now I feel proud to be a girl, and I don’t miss school anymore!
When our community health center was abandoned, many people suffered in silence. Ontherock Empowerment Foundation took the bold step to renovate the facility and provide medical outreach. Today, our people can get basic healthcare without traveling far. This foundation has brought light and hope back to our community. We are truly grateful.
